Lucinda Meyer is an innocent victim of a Horrific, Iatrogenic Injury through no fault of hers! (An Injury induced by a health caregiver because of a surgical, medical, drug or vaccine treatment or by a diagnostic procedure)
For 3 long, excruciating years, Lucinda has been living a waking 24/7 nightmare-all because she took Prescription Medication as Directed! Ever since she was abruptly “Cold Turkeyed” off all meds per her Physician, she has been suffering with non-stop, violent shaking (Akathisia), constant, obsessive irrational fears, torturous- racing thoughts, chronic insomnia, emotional turmoil, severe Agoraphobia, deafening Tinnitus, not to mention the physical toll such as extreme muscle atrophy, loss of skin elasticity, and even having a difficult time just walking & maintaining balance.
All these intense symptoms are due to the significant changes that dangerous Psychotropic drugs can make to the Human Body, specifically the Central Nervous System. Because of this, Lucinda has been tortured non-stop by these symptoms bombarding her decimated system to no end, it has left her unable to perform even the simplest tasks such as cooking, cleaning & even personal grooming
And why? All because she went to her doctor to find help for a simple thyroid issue and after prescribing this poison to her for too long a time 8 months to be exact (New guidelines recommend taking for only 2-4 weeks max including a slow taper)
What medication(s) were prescribed to Lucinda? Lexapro (an Antidepressant) -Xanax (a Benzodiazepine) Cipro (a Fluoroquinolone Antibiotic)
Although on the extreme end, Lucinda unfortunately is not a rare case, she is just one of the many hundreds of thousands of others going through the same excruciating thing. And because many people don't understand what's happening to them or why their symptoms are not only returning but worsening (These drugs actually begin to produce Paradoxical effects) - many are misdiagnosed often times being prescribed even more medications and sent for countless & useless tests ruling one disorder out after another- all as you can well imagine, just making things worse off.
At the same time because of changed behaviors & unexplained continued symptoms, friends & family start to distance themselves, leaving people to fend for themselves & flounder, some even succumbing to suicide. This is a silent Epidemic!
But throughout all of this, Lucinda has still found the time & love in her heart to reach out to others suffering from this same, life changing & debilitating situation. Throughout the entire ordeal, Lucinda has documented her Journey via her YouTube Channel sharing her daily struggles, all the while sharing life saving information and being a beacon of hope for countless others suffering in the same community.
With that being said,that’s where you come in- Lucinda needs your help now!
Although there is no “Cure” or "Recommended Treatment", we're looking to raise money to take care of Lucinda's basic Daily & Healthcare needs so we can make her strong again & help her get well!. Some of the funds will go toward an on-going grocery delivery service, Fully Cooked Meal Prep service, access to Health Foods, Vitamins & Supplements, etc..., as well as service providers such as House Cleaning, Laundry Service, Personal Grooming and a dedicated Companion/Advocate that can personally visit Lucinda & help with personal paperwork, bills, etc…..
Because this process can take years, as Lucinda progresses so will her needs, other services will be added to accommodate, such as Mental & Physical Therapies, nutritional advisers, Uber account to help with travel to & fro for health services, etc…..
Please help us to Lift up Lucinda & spread awareness to end “Non Consent” and to educate on the possible dangers of Psychotropic Drugs even when taken as prescribed!
