Let's Help The Buchanan Family

Mark Buchanan is a devoted husband to Chris and father to Connor-13 and Ellie-9. He worked hard to provide for his family and took a very active role in caring for Connor who has significant special needs.
Over the holidays Mark had not been feeling well with what seemed like a common cold. On January 6th everything changed for the Buchanan family when Mark collapsed. He was transported to the hospital by EMS. It was then we learned that Mark did not have a cold but was in Septic Shock. He had a severe infection that had traveled through his body affecting many of his organs.
Mark has been sedated and put on a ventilator and also dialysis. His condition is extremely critical and changes minute to minute. Mark has a very long road ahead. When he gets stronger he will face heart surgery, as well as amputations of several fingers and toes.
No matter the next course of treatment, Mark will be hospitalized for a very long time and the expenses will continue to grow. These expenses will put great strain on the family as they are now relying solely on Chris' income.
If you know Mark, the last thing he would ever want to do is ask for help, but he and Chris really need it right now.
