Let's get Dacika qualified
Our lovely friend, Ceeka, is in the last couple of months of her MA training to be an Art Therapist, but has hit a big stumbling block and may no longer be able to continue without your support.
She just found out that a loan she had secured to pay for the remaining course fees has fallen through. This means she can no longer afford to pay for the rest of the course and will not be able to qualify with the rest of her peers. It's particularly hard to swallow as she is so close to the finish line.
It has been a long journey for Ceeka. Due to a huge personal tragedy, it has taken her five years to complete what should be a three year course. Throughout this time, she has shown unwavering perseverance, huge resilience and patience; all wonderful qualities for an art therapist. It would not only be a huge shame if all her hard work over the last five years went to waste, but of greater significance, is the loss to all the people that she could help as an art therapist.
All her friends on the course feel impassioned make sure her ability, care and compassion do not go to waste. We have a big target to meet but if everyone gives even a little, we can achieve a lot.

"I felt very humbled and thankful when I decided to share my current situation with my MA Art Therapy cohorts and they suggested setting up this page for me, especially as they knew this is something I probably wouldn't do myself.
The deadline to clear the outstanding fees was actually on 25th May 2018 and ideally needs to be cleared as a matter of urgency, otherwise I will be permanently blocked from the university as well as registration for my graduation ceremony later this year.
I started my MA Art Therapy course with a vision of making art therapy accessible to families and individuals in inner city areas. I've finally reached the finish line and remain positive that I WILL be able to qualify and continue working on my vision, with the support of you and my peers.
