Brody's Burgers & Beer would not be what we are today without our wonderful friend and lead Chef "Lupe" Garcia. Lupe had a bad accident years ago and severely hurt his neck. After the accident he had a couple surgeries and has been able to function, working for his family, (2 jobs) day and night.
On July 24th Lupe will have Posterior Cervical Decompression. They will go in through the front of his neck, then, two days later they will go into the back of his neck to implant a couple of screws to stabilize a fracture! Lupe has insurance, however, his out of pocket cost is high and he will be on disability for months.
If he doesn't get this procedure the surgeon told him he will be paralyzed within a few years. Lupe has already begun to experience some changes in his movement and at times has numbness in his hands. Lupe is a wonderful husband, father, brother, friend and employee. Please help us show Lupe our love, just like he cooks your food with LOVE at Brody's.
