Let's battle the battle with Cristina!

As some of you may know Cristina Sirmons is battling Cervical Cancer. The "C" word is a terrifying word to ANYONE. The thought of cancer alone is a lot to take in especially because with cancer comes a lot of different things that change but also some things stay the same. Bills continue to roll in, food still has to be bought, and work still has to be done. With the news of cancer all of those things still happen but now this means … missing work for doctors appointments and procedures but yet the added cost of medical bills, deductibles, and travel expenses. Anybody who knows Cristina and Barry KNOWS that they are not going to ask for help. This news has not been easy and the one thing we as a community/family can help with are those added costs and prayers. I have had a few people ask me what they can do and this is one situation I know that we can help with. Cristina is an amazing woman with a heart of gold. She loves her husband, grandbabies and kids more than anything and has no intentions on giving in to this battle of cancer! We plan to keep her! She has sweet babies to teach and grandbabies to watch grow up! I will keep this post updated with updates on the cancer. Prayers are the most appreciated! Tuesday Cristina will be going to have a PET scan done to see if the cancer has spread to her surrounding lymph nodes so please pray that Gods will be done in that situation. She will also be having a major surgery Friday July 5th which means she will be out of work for at least 6-8 weeks.
