We are the Leonardtown Elementary School Destination Imagination Team, DI Ice Ice Baby, from Leonardtown, MD. We're a group of fourth and fifth graders that have spent the last five months working hard to compete in the Escape Artists Service Learning Challenge. We are very excited to be one of the top scoring teams in the State of Maryland and to have the opportunity to present our Challenge solution at the Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri this May.
Teams are responsible for their own fundraising to cover their costs. We are asking for any donation to help us with the cost of entry fees and travel to the competition.

Our Skit
Our skit is about a group of students that become trapped in a giant computer while visiting a museum. In order to escape the computer and outwit the mischievous Brain, they need to answer riddles, find clues, and even make use of a skytale. Despite the warnings, someone has pushed the Big Red Button and the computer's fan has stopped, threatening to melt all of the exits closed, forever! Out intrepid explorers are in a race to beat the clock, start the fan, and defeat the Brain!
Destination Imagination
Destination Imagination (https://www.destinationimagination.org) is an educational program that helps us learn valuable skills like creative and critical thinking, problem solving and teamwork through different STEAM-based (science, technology, engineering arts and mathematics) challenges.
