Leon's Support Fund

Donation protected
My aunt Becky and her husband Leon have recently received the sad news that Leon has cancer that is not treatable.  While they come to terms with his diagnosis and work on a plan to move forward, we wanted to set up this fund to help pay medical bills and the unexpected costs that they are already starting to incur.  Nobody should have to worry about finances when they're dealing with cancer and it's related treatments.  Please do consider supporting Leon and Becky in their fight.  Thanks so much for all your thoughts and prayers.

For more details, Leon's daughter Traci has told his story best:

"As common as the C word is, it's still the hardest words to hear....'you've got cancer'. It leaves a family scrambling to prepare and provide when it's main income earning person faces chemo treatments and side effects. On January 18th, 2018 my dad, Leon Snider Jr., 65 years young, was diagnosed with Metastatic Squamous Neck Cancer. Something he was told was very treatable with surgery, maybe a little radiation. As the doctor appointments continued the diagnosis continued to change too. February 13th, 2018 he was scheduled to meet with his radiologist who shared the news with us that it had spread to his lungs and radiation would not be an effective treatment. On February 14th, 2018 we meet with his oncologist to hear the treatment plan with chemo, only to learn that it was stage 4 cancer and that "there is no cure and we won't be able to get all the cancer". In less than a month my dad and his wife, Becky, have had their whole lives flipped upside down. Please consider supporting them as they fight with everything they have to beat the odds and beat this diagnosis! Leon served in the US Navy, has three children, Travis, Traci and Melissa, but the true loves of his life are his 5 grandsons, Brynson, TJ, Bradley, Camden and Cooper, so fitting for a man who's hobby is SPORTS!!'
