Len's medical and moving expense

On January 20th, 2017 Lenny and Alexis's lives changed forever.  Len was rushed to the hospital bleeding and in severe pain.  What he thought was a problem with kidney stones was actually a tumor the size of his bladder which literally ripped one kidney away from the bladder and left the other in renal failure.   While undergoing emergency surgery, Len suffered a heart attack.  After a short stay in rehab, Len was finally able to return home to build up his strength for the surgery he needed to remove his tumor.  When he returned home, he was dealt with yet another blow.  A real Estate Agent showed up to list the house that they have been renting for over 20 years.   Now, instead of just being able to concentrate on Lenny's health issues and recovery, the family now has to find another place to live.  Rents elsewhere are high and the family is trying to survive on only one income.

Lenny had surgery on March 15th to remove the tumor.  While they seemed to be able to save his bladder, it appears as though the cancer may have spread into the wall.   Lenny will face a long road of treatment ahead all with a weakened heart and the additional stress of having to move.

This loving and deserving family needs financial help immediately.   They have not received a penny of disability as of yet and their bills are mounting.  While he does have medical insurance, the co-pays are steep and some things just aren't covered and they will need money to find another place to live and move.

For those of you who know Lenny, you know that he has had more than his share of tough times but through it all had a smile on his face and did whatever it took to take care of Alexis and all his girls.  He is a proud man who would not ever ask for help himself but now he is in a time of need and if he won't ask for himself, we will ask for him. We all work with Alexis and see the daily trials and tribulations they have had to endure. The family is strong of faith, hope and love but running very short on funds at the moment.

If you don't know the family, know that they are good, decent, hardworking  people who have dealt with more than one family should ever have to.   Maybe you saw Lenny's band, The Remarcks play one night and he brought a smile to your face....... Please help him and his family during this very trying time.
