I am currently on disability and also a Webster University student (since 2014), pursuing a degree that will be able to sustain the costs of home damages/repairs. There have been 2 children born and raised in this home as well since 2013. Although, I will be more financially stable in the near future, I’m unsure how well I will be able to just maintain the main structure of the home and keep our family safe. I am including a list of repairs that will affect the future in tumultuous ways if not tended to immediately. We thank anyone and everyone in advance for any type of services rendered!!
the wheel chair ramp has collapsed. It was built in 2005 by a contractor that did not know what they were doing, there is no support under it. The joist does not have any joist hangers everything is toe nailed in. the whole ramp and platform porch has to be rebuild and it will cost about 5000 to do the job correctly. I need the ramp so I can get into and out of my house.
The garage door also needs to be replaced it will not close or open properly. The door is off of the hinges and falling down. The garage door needs to be replaced cost 1200.
There are also electrical shorts due to the roof leak. There are 2 rooms affected by the water the wiring is so bad that when you turn the lights out in the rooms it blows the breakers out in the living rooms. The ceiling fans in 2 rooms need to be replaced as well as the switches and the wires in the rooms. The cost to repair the electrical problems 3000.
One of the kitchen cabinets needs to be replace due to a water leak. The cabinet base has rotted out and the cabinet is filled with mold. The cost to replace the kitchen cabinet 1200.
There is possibly dangerous black mold cost unknown yet depending on the damage.

The shingles on the roof in the front of the 17-year-old home. Every time it rains, it leaks into the living room, into 2 bedrooms and also into the basement. Repairs have been made with the budget allowed, but they don't hold long. The cost to replace the roof 3200.
The drywall in the 2 bedrooms and the living room now has to be replaced along with the insulation due to the leaks. The cost to replace the drywall 1100
