As most of you know I'm a cannabis author, activist, grower, and a proponent of cannabis concentrates. Having a rare neurological condition from early childhood I've been a Medical Marijuana Patient in Wa for a really long time now. I went to California to help out some companies that were transitioning from California mmj to recreational sectors, or to Hemp,  or other states. There was a lab accident and unfortunately I was burned to the 3rd degree over 85% of my body. After 14 skin grafts and several surgeries to stabilize my body I was put in a medical coma. Recovering from full body 3rd degree burns was very difficult. My family and friends were told I had a 1% chance of survival. I endured months of agonizing pain as I tried to heal and surgeons repaired what they could. Its a year and a few months later. I've used medical marijuana and concentrates to aid in my healing from this life changing event. Currently I'm on no pharmaceutical drugs and am getting healthy enough to travel and promote my new writing projects.

The state of California and the Nevada County prosecutors office, along with the sheriffs dept has seen it fit to press two bench warrants for me for Cultivation of Marijuana and Manufacturing a controlled substance in the state of California. I was a medical marijuana patient under prop 215 and a California resident at the time as well as a registered Washington medical marijuana patient. I'm a trained professional with over 14 years of experience, Nobody besides me was hurt. No property was damaged. I initiated the 911 call.Dying from the burns I still aided the first responders in putting out the fires and made sure they were aware of possible fire hazards in the area.

Since the accident I've moved around some. Its been brought to my attention by local authorities that these charges, no matter how erroneous, won't just go away. I have tried several times to turn myself in and because of my skin, the state I'm in currently cannot house or transport me to California. My next book project is as contributing editor to Ed Rosenthal's new release Beyond Buds Next Generation. We took great care in this book to drive home that safety should always be of the utmost importance. Growing or processing, like any horticultural industry has inherent risks but as we all move forward we can minimize these risks together. My personal goal was to try to prevent future injuries. I've begun the process of retaining a legal advisor but I'm asking for some help from my friends in the industry in putting together enough cash to travel to California and quash or have these charges against me dismissed.

"If we work together we can all heal together"
Thanks for reading this. Please share it around the web. I know the pictures are gruesome but everybody should know the truth and that there is a bright safe future looming.
