Emergency Aid For John

Donation protected
On Tuesday, 11/13 John was traveling across country with his dogs and got into a seriously, sticky situation. He is physically safe now but he is stranded over 1,500 miles away, has lost his truck and trailer, and is desperately in need of financial help to pay the costs associated with the ordeal and to bring him home safely. Due to the severity of the situation, his poor puppies were taken to the local animal shelter. When we were informed of my Uncle's incident we found out they were planning to euthanize the dogs if someone didn't come to pick them up within a few days; sooner if they were deemed aggressive. We scrambled together and were able to fly down, save the dogs and make the 1,500 mile trek back home. The conditions we found the dogs in were atrocious. They were being held in an aluminum shed, hadn't been fed or watered and were covered in their own feces for 5 days. The dogs would not rest, were visibly traumatized, limping and covered in sores on their face and butts. As soon as they got home they ran to John's room looking for him. They've slowly begun to recover from their neglect at the hands of the people assigned to protect them. My Uncle was heartbroken to hear of the treatment of his best friends while he was stuck, unable to help them. We've decided as a family to keep the details of his ordeal private for the time being and allow him to share his story when and how he sees fit. Please help us bring him home so he can begin the slow, difficult journey of rebuilding.
