Leap to Reading

Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Luczak. This semester I am doing my student teaching in a first-grade classroom at St. Adalbert Catholic School. I am hoping to raise money for Mrs. Crain's classroom to purchase a gift that would promote learning and fun. By giving the classroom a set of LeapReaders and books, I hope the students will gain better reading and writing skills. 

My class is made up of 26 students who are very bright and loving. Each student so far has been so fun to get to know and work with in the classroom and at lunch and recess. Mrs. Crain is also an amazing teacher who has given her all to each and every one of her students. She loves on them and does whatever she can to support their learning needs.

My goal is to purchase a set of 5 LeapReaders and various leveled stories to go along with them to provide a literature center for the classroom. By providing this gift to the classroom, I hope to provide another way to foster student learning and show how much grateful I am for Mrs. Crain and her class for allowing me to come into her room for the year.
