LeAnna Goodwin is very important to so many, and we'd like to share what has been happening the past few weeks.
In early April, LeAnna went in for a check up and was told there was something abnormal that needed a biopsy. She was admitted to the hospital 2 days later and had surgery that next morning.
The biopsy had come back as Stage III Ovarian Cancer. After a very invasive surgery and more tests the doctors, unfortunately, realized that they could not conclusively say where the cancer is originating or what the prognosis will be. LeAnna is now at MD Anderson Cancer Center working with some amazing doctors to get to the bottom of what is ahead.
LeAnna is a mother of 2 and a friend and loved one to so many. Because of her kind nature and vibrant personality, she has been blessed to have connected with an endless amount of supportive and loving individuals. We are all so fortunate to have this network and support system to rely on.
This is just the beginning of a long and difficult journey for LeAnna and her family, and we are asking for support for her medical expenses. No contribution is too small.
