Leah Hargrove's story
Hello everyone. Meet baby Leah Hargrove of Centertown MO. Leah was born May 29 in Rochester MN, calling NICU home for her first 26 days. Leah arrived in our world with special needs. Doctors diagnosed her with Tessier facial cleft #4, cleft lip, orbital cleft palate, total nasal occlusion, micropthalmia, anopthalmia, and hearing impairment. One of Leah’s eyes did not develop and the other has a hole in the optic nerve. Leah has endured multiple procedures and surgeries during her first year of life. With the latest technology and skilled, gifted physicians, most of her anomalies are correctable. Leah could use your help! Second update—Thank you for your continued prayers, your generous support for Leah. We are making progress towards our goal. She is a big blessing to family and friends. She is one week out from her first major procedure and is progressing well. Next procedure is on September 7th.
First update---At 12 weeks old, Leah has successfully survived her first major surgery lasting 7.5 hours.
