I Dream of Coffee

If you live in Le Claire, IA, you already know that our local coffee shop was closed, and a deli was opened in it's place. While it's always exciting to see a new business open in our town of Le Claire, I miss my morning coffee run, and I know I'm not the only one! McDonald's, while having a decent selection of McCafe's, just doesn't cut it for me!
Therefore, I, a local resident and coffee enthusiast, have interest in purchasing an area property to open my own coffee shop! I have a beautiful location in mind with sweeping views of the scenic Mississippi.
Currently, not only am I doing extensive research to develop a solid business plan, but I am in search of future opportunities to join in with local businesses, including local artists, to support them in the event of opening shop. I already have contacts with a small business that roasts coffee and is more than excited at the potential to be our supplier!
I envision this to be an inviting place - where you and a friend, or even significant other, can sit comfortably and sip on your drink of choice while simultaneously taking in views of the Mississippi, which would be steps away.
Furthermore, In addition to the coffee shop, I have hopes of converting the upper half of the establishment into a quaint B&B for couples who want a romantic getaway from home, or simply a quiet night on the river.
Not only is this an opportunity to support local jobs in our small community upon completion, but a way to attract out of town folks and show them firsthand, the beauty of Le Claire, IA.
