Help Lawrence to Special Olympics!

16 year old Lawrence Mwangi is the Special Olympics Kenya Floor Hockey Team goal keeper. His goal keeping prowess helped ensure the Central Region Team's #1 position in their division.

However, it was not always like this for Lawrence. When his mother discovered that Lawrence had a disability, she continuously blamed herself and her negative attitude unfortunately affected Lawrence.

Before joining Special Olympics Kenya, Lawrence did not know if he was good at anything. When he started participating in Special Olympics Sports he discovered his athletic talent and his specialty in goal keeping.

As goal keeper, he knows that his role is vital in making team Kenya win, therefore he is kindly reaching out to well wishers to support him achieve his dream of being the best goal keeper in the 2017 World Games.
