Law Enforcement Wife/Mom Critically Injured

Our Law Enforcement family NEEDS YOUR HELP!!        On Friday, August 16, 2019, Shelby Diaz was involved in a traffic crash on I-4 leaving this young mother of 4 and wife to Polk County Sheriff's detention deputy Martin Diaz, critically injured with a very long road to recovery ahead of her.  After some car trouble on I-4 had her parked on the side of the road, Shelby was in her vehicle when another driver hit her from behind at a high rate of speed.... Shelby's injuries are critical and life changing, not only for her, but for her entire family.      Shelby serves our community being an unsung hero, as the duties of a LEO wife is never an easy one, and being a mommy to 4 spunky babies under the age of 6 years old is an adventure in itself. We are expecting Shelby to be in the hospital for the next month or two, and Martin is not leaving her side as long as he can help it.    In this family, NO ONE FIGHTS ALONE!! We need to pull together and help this young family with anything that we can, to help them through this time, and ease any financial burdens that we can... That's the LAST thing that they should have on their minds right now... I've set this amount to cover the first 3 months of their household expenses..
