Lavender & Thieves: Album Fundraiser

Our new album, Solar Plexus, is one of the most important works of art that we have ever created. Solar Plexus is four years of blood, sweat, and tears, and we are proud to finally have the songs in a place where they can be released.  The only problem is, getting enough funding to release the album is difficult when you live paycheck to paycheck.

All of the funding would go to the mastering and the distribution of the album.
Why is mastering and distribution a necessary step in the release of our music? Mastering is the final step of audio post-production (after it has been recorded and mixed). The purpose of mastering is to balance sonic elements of a stereo mix and optimize playback across all systems and media formats. So, in other words, no matter WHAT you are listening to our music on, be it in your car, on your computer, or on the radio...it WILL sound good!  
Now, to distribution. Distribution is important because it takes the music from us, and makes it purchasable online, in stores, and at shows. It will even make the music available on streaming sites! That means FREE PLAYS! Because of distribution you will have the ability to listen to the album anywhere you wanted! 

We cannot explain the amount of gratitude we have for any and all donations that go to our Go Fund Me page! Remember, that your word-of-mouth is the best tool we have for marketing our music. You have the power in this relationship. Releasing the album will only go so far. YOU are the catalyst to get the music heard by millions.
