Lauren Kavanaugh, five years later

Hello,

My name is Lauren Kavanaugh. When I was a child I was servely abused, sexually, mentally, and physically while starved and locked in a closet for 6 years. I have had many ups and downs. I was adopted and I thought life would be better but it wasn't. My first go fund me raised more than $17,000. But I didn't see a cent of that money. My adoptive mother took ever penny. When I asked her for it she said it was gone. I have been homeless, without medicine, or basic essentials. I have a family now. A beautiful fiancé and two step children. I recently appeared back on the Dr Phil show to get my story back out there. He graciously gave us an apartment so we wouldn't have to sleep in the car anymore. I am asking once again for help for basic things for the apartment. I am in counseling and getting the help that I need to better my self and my relationship.
