Laura's Brain & Spinal Surgeries

Laura has been diagnosed with a condition called Chiari malformation which is the brain decending out the back of the skull which has caused the brain tonsels to crush her spinal cord, creating permanent nerve damage.
The blockage has caused a build up of fluid on the brain and surgery is needed to release the pressure.  Faliure to attend to this will result in definate paralisis from the neck down, plus possibility of severe stokes or death.
There are several approaches that need to be taken but first we need to make sure we have all the right information.  A geneticist will need to run a series of tests to diagnose other problems in Lauras body
that we have been looking for answers in for the past 3 years.  We believe to be called EDS   Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which is a conective tissue disorder and adds significant complications into the surgeries.
We are searching for the correct approach and realise that time is not something we can wait upon.  But in order to find the right help for the best possible outcome we are reaching out and seeing if we can raise support for the needed testings, surgeries and recovery
