What I am doing:
I have been tattooing sacred imagery within our Yogic Ashram community for eight years. Our Ashram is a perfect environment for Yoga and meditation. And I’ve found the perfect location for a studio that reflects that atmosphere, together with the exposure needed for it to be successful, and not too far from home.
So now I’m raising money to build “Samyama Yogi Tattoos and Talismans!”
Traditionally, tattooing and sacred imagery have been a means of imparting mystical possibilities. The most powerful forms, like Yantras (geometric patterns), Mantras (sacred script), and visual talismans (sacred imagery of protection, power), are manifestations of certain frequencies that bring about a specific result: healing, blessings, etc.
I will be creating these images at my studio in the form of intricate tattoos, one-of-a-kind paintings, and exceptional carvings.
Benefitting people through the power of sacred imagery is my next step as a Yogi toward my goal to transform peoples’ lives!
Here are the expenses I need to cover to make this dream a reality:

$2,100 Tattoo equipment, chair, table, etc.

Who I Am:
Hi guys!
I’ve been an artist and dedicated Yogi for just about my whole life. As a young man I felt the state of the world and saw an opportunity to benefit all beings through Yoga and spirituality.
Through my art and spiritual practice I’ve discovered my passion for—and the power of—tattooing. I’ve also traveled extensively to work as a Yogic craftsman. Now it’s time to take all that to the next level! My calling is to build a Sacred Tattoo and Arts studio to help others experience positivity and purpose. This world needs it and I've got it to give!
When this is happening:
I have been working on the studio every spare minute. Thanks to your support, “Samyama Yogi Tattoos and Talismans” will open Fall 2018!
Where this is happening:
I have been working at the Shilo Farm eco-lodge in Elliot, ME <link> for years on and off: building, renovating and creating sacred spaces, and developing a strong connection with the owners.
I presented my vision of a sacred studio in Fall 2017. Everyone thought it was a perfect fit! Shilo Farm has everything I need: commercial zoning, like-minded clientele, ideal exposure—even a shared intention to help people find meaning.
This has been a group effort from the beginning. So crowdfunding fits perfectly with the overall vision and intention of Samyama Yogi Tattoos and Talismans: a space to transform peoples’ lives.
Why this is so important:
If one person succeeds in something really powerful, it affects everyone!
To my knowledge, no one else in the US is offering this form of traditional energetic tattooing. All cultures have used tattoos and imagery for spiritual growth and transformation. But it is slowly fading. I want to change that!
Following the age-old path of the Yogic tattooists and artists before me, I received initiation into this practice from my Guru. This empowerment enables me to perform Prana Pritishta: “infusing the piece with life.”
Intention and attention are some of the most powerful forces at play in life. Prana Pratishta channels these powers to bring the piece alive, awakening its beneficial emanations. Without this a tattoo is just a tattoo, a painting just a painting.
