Please help my grandchildren continue their sports dream! My grandchildren are involved in a variety of sports from softball, baseball, football, and the most important one is rodeo! More specifically, bullriding! If you know my grandkids, then you know how good they are in their given sports, and you would also know the tragedy that has fallen on their family thru no fault of their own. Their mother was recently convicted of a crime and was sentenced to 10 yrs in prison! It's going to be hard enough to deal with not having their mother to turn to or to be comforted when they hurt do to this life altering event. Their father, my son, TJ Lara, now has the burden of being a single father and the only income that will be coming in for the next 10 yrs.
My grandson, Joseph Lara, is a Senior this year at Caldwell High. He plays football, baseball, and rides bulls! He is trying to qualify to ride at the Chris Shivers MBR Invitational in Vegas this December 2017.
My grandson, Lance Lara, is in 7th grade in Caldwell Jr. High. This is his first year to play football for the school. He also plays Little League Baseball, runs track, and rides bulls. Lance has qualified to ride in Vegas the past three years and has qualified to go back to Vegas in December 2017.
Now to my precious little granddaughter, Jadeyn Lara, who is 9 yrs old, quite a little pistol if I have to say so myself. Jadeyn has won many belt buckles and a saddle for Mutton Buston, calf riding, and she even got on a Mini Bull and scored 88 points! She has now turned her attention on her new love, and that is softball! Please help me to keep their lives as normal as possible while they adjust to this unfortunate life changing event. I want to help my grandchildren to stay positive and to continue to be the strong athletes they are so they are able to get scholarships down the road so they can attend college to pursue a promising career and one day pass it forward to someone else in need.
