My name is Felicia Battle-Hector. On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, my daughter, LaPeetra Dawson was killed while sitting in her living room. She had just finished dinner and was beginning to relax after a long day at work. Like so many others, she worked hard to make a living for her family. A single-mother of two, with a heart to help others who came to her in need, she had struggled for many years to make a better life for herself and her kids. Though she had faced many challenges along the way, she didn’t let those challenges stop her. And with her determination and hard work, she was pushing her way through. Unfortunately, someone senselessly took her life yesterday. Our family is devastated. She was making strides and hitting her prime and though she was truly making a difference in her and her family’s lives, she had not secured life insurance. We the family of LaPeetra Dawson are asking for and need your help. We truly want to provide her the burial service she deserves. NO donation is too small.
