Lake Region Project Graduation Class of 2019

Project Graduation was originally implemented by concerned parents of high school seniors to prevent the dangers of drinking and driving during the evening of graduation, protecting both the students and the community.
Project Graduation provides a SAFE, fun, chemical-free event for all graduating seniors at no charge to the students or their parents and is a longstanding tradition at Lake Region High School. No school funds are designated to support this important event. The class of 2019 will be celebrating at Three Rivers White Water Rafting. The activities will include a dinner with a hypnotist followed by a DJ. The following morning will be breakfast and rafting and a BBQ lunch before returning to LRHS in the afternoon. This event will be well organized, chaperoned by parents of graduating students and will provide long-lasting memories and reinforce friendships.
Our Committee is taking on the overwhelming task of organizing a number of fundraisers. We have already held several fundraisers which were very successful, the Casco Days Pancake Breakfast, Hollyberry Craft Fair, DIY Wood Sign Making, New Year’s Day Zumba and a silent auction at the Campfire Grille Trivia Night, but we still have quite a way to go. We have the following events scheduled a concert with the Bold Riley band with auction March 8, Comedy Night with silent auction March 29, Psychic April 5, another silent auction at the Campfire Grille Trivia Night in April, a Spaghetti Dinner sponsored by the Masons in April. The 2019 graduating class has approximately 155 students and, as you can imagine, the cost of a successful program for this large of a group will be sizable. In order for us to meet our goal, we are asking for your support for the Class of 2019. We are more than half way through our fundraising journey and we would very much appreciate your contribution.
