OKLAHOMA HORSE RANCH HIT BY TORNADO
Donation protected
Dear fellow horsemen and women, on May 16th, 2017 tragedy struck one of our own. The tornado that passed through Elk City, Oklahoma and left wide spread destruction, passed directly over the Newcomb Cattle Company Ranch.
Lake & Ladonna Newcomb suffered near complete destruction of their home and barns, as well as the loss of many of their precious animals. Lake has served our industry for many years. He is a past president and a current director of the OQHRA.
As horse owners we always stand together and support each other in time of need. All donations in any denomination would be greatly appreciated. Heritage Place, Inc. is facilitating this campaign and 100% of donations to this Gofundme account will go directly to the Newcomb's.
In addition, if you would like to contribute to Oklahoma horsemen and women in time of tragedy, the OQHRA has a charitable fund called the Oklahoma Equine Disaster Fund. More details of this charitable organization can be found on the OQHRA website.
