Lake George Teen Center

The Lake George Teen Center is devoted to promoting a sense of community, involvement, and exploration. Currently hosted at the Lake George Senior Center, Lake George teens are invited form 3:00 - 5:30 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays to come play ping pong, pool, and boards games, have snacks, engage in art projects, and get homework help or simply get it done. On Thursdays we offer off-site programming where, in the past, we have hiked Pinnacle, learned how to make slime at Caldwell Library, painted rocks at Hillview Library, made tie blankets to donate to Open Door Mission, and gone bowling at Lake George Lanes and Games. In the future we hope to participate in orienteering or snowshoeing activities at Camp Chingachgook, learn how to knit, have a painting class, host a series of African Drum Circle events, have a poetry workshop, yoga classes, and so much more. With YOUR HELP we can make all of these activities possible to all of the teens involved! These teens are our community's future - the next generation to be leading our area, and occupying it. Fostering this sense of citizenship and community among them is one of our core values. To show our appreciation for your help, we have the following "tiers" of giving.

>FIRST DONOR will receive a "shoutout" on our Instagram story
>$25+ will receive a "shoutout" on our Instagram page.
>$50+ will receive a thank you note from our Director, Haley.
>$75+ will receive a thank you note and photo of our teens at a Thursday activity.
>$100+ will  receive a hand written thank you from one or more of the teen.
>$150+ will receive a piece of art work completed by one of our teens
>$250+ will receive recognition on a blog post on our website (lakegeorgeteencenter.org) when this fundraiser concludes.
>$500+ is considered a "Sponsor" and will be recognized on our website for the duration of 2019.
>$1,000+ will receive press recognition next time we have an interview with Post Star, Mirror, etc. if permission of donor is granted.
