Laiyesha's Funeral Costs

We lost a brave and beautiful soul yesterday ❤ Laiyesha was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) February 2013 at the age of 15. Such a scary time for us all. We cried and we hugged and we cried some more...similar to the pain we are feeling today. She was so brave and so strong. That night we all slept in our room together and I held her all night just so she wouldn't feel so alone. During chemotherapy, she stayed focused on her school and grades even when she couldn't attend high school smh there was no stopping that girl. Everyone was worried about her health and she couldn't stop worrying about her GPA cancer did not stop her from studying, traveling, experiencing medical programs in DC, competitions for DECA. The list goes on and on! She graduated at the top of her class and had plans to attend the university of Arlington to become a nurse and help children just like her. She had such a big heart! August 2018 her leukemia came back after one year of treatment free. The second round was very intense and very painful for her. Yet again she saw through it and found those happy days, especially within the past few months. Sunday she was admitted and was called home Monday evening our hearts break but your body is no longer in pain and your soul is at peace ❤ thank you for showing us love, compassion and patience...what it means to be strong inside and out. I will forever hold u in my arms and remember ur warmth. Our guardian angel.
