I left Uganda 6 months ago and have been working alongside a team of locals on the ground, to ensure sustainable improvements to the livelihoods of vulnerable children in communities effected by poverty in Kisoro. Kisoro is the poorest district in Uganda, which sits on the border of the Congo.
Kisoro suffers from lack of education and skills development, and chronic water shortages. This compounded by the use of inappropriate technology that primary affects communities, impacting their livelihoods and perpetuating a cycle of poverty.
We have developed a project to engage children in education and skills development, while helping to support their families. The annual budget to sustain the project is £4070. For more information, check out our website. www.cvcuganda.com
