On New Year's day 2019, friends and family gathered at Yojanny Ramirez's home to celebrate her life, being that her birthday was on January 2nd. As family and friends celebrated, Yojanny was being her normal self, paying attention to everyone and simply being selfless. As soon as the clock hit 12am (1/2/19), everyone wished her a happy birthday. Later on that evening, most of her friends left the house and only a couple of her closest friends stayed overnight. They later went to sleep and it appeared to be a normal birthday celebration that had come to a conclusion after everyone went to sleep. When one of her best friends went to go check on her the next morning on her birthday, she encountered Yojanny cold as an iceberg with purple "stains" on her skin. At that very moment, her best friend knew that Yojanny had left us. Yojanny had just turned 41 when she passed and left behind a husband, a daughter, a pair fraternal-twin kids, and a granddaughter.
The donation we receive will go toward funeral expenses, including sending her body back to her home country, the Dominican Republic, and travel expenses that her children will incur as a result of accompanying their late mother to the Dominican Republic where the rest of their family is.
The following is a statement from Adan, 14, about his mother Yojanny:
This new year we were celebrating the birthday of my mom who died the next day due to heart failure. She was 41 years of age and she struck the hearts of everyone she came in contact with. She not only had a radiant personality but simply with her presence filled the lives of those around her with joy and happiness.
My mother to me was the most important person in the world. She was always there for me when I needed her. She was always ready to step in and help me with anything I needed. Nothing was ever impossible when it came to providing for her children. Even though we never had a lot of money she always did her best to give us everything we needed and wanted. I always knew that eventually, I would lose my mom but I could've never imagined that it would happen so soon. I will miss her every minute of every day, and her death at such a young age has taught me that life can be very short and that we should cherish the time that we spend surrounded by people we love because we can't control the future so we should make the most of the present.

El día de Año Nuevo 2019, familiares y amigos se reunieron en el hogar de Yojanny Ramirez para celebrar su vida, ya que su cumpleaños fue el 2 de enero, 2019. Mientras sus familiares y amigos celebraban, Yojanny era la misma de siempre, prestandole atención a los demás y simplemene siendo una mujer desinteresada en todos los aspectos. Desde que el reloj dió las 12am (1/2/19), todos les desearon un feliz cumpleaños. Mas tarde esa noche, la mayoría de sus amigos se fueron y solo unos cuantos de sus amigos cercanos se quedaron hasta dormir. Todo parecía ver una celebración de cumpleaños normal que había llegado a su fin cuando todos fueron a dormir. Cuando una de sus mejores amigas fue a verla esa mañana encontró a Yojanny fría como un iceberg con manchas en su cuerpo. En ese preciso momento su mejor amiga supo que Yojanny nos había dejado. Yojanny recién cumplía sus 41 años (el mismo día que falleció), cuando dejó en este mundo un esposo, una hija, un par de gemelos y una nieta.
La donación recaudada va a ser usado para los gastos funebres, incluyendo el transporte del cuerpo hasta su país de origen la República Dominicana, y gastos que sus hijos vas a tener como resultado de acompañar el cuerpo de su madre hasta la Republica Dominicana donde se encuentra el resto de su familia.

Este año nuevo celebramos el cumpleaños de mi madre que murió al día siguiente debido a una insuficiencia cardíaca. Tenía 41 años de edad y golpeó los corazones de todas las personas con las que tuvo contacto. Ella no solo tenía una personalidad radiante sino que, simplemente, con su presencia llenaba de alegría y felicidad las vidas de quienes la rodeaban.
Para mí, mi madre era la persona más importante del mundo. Ella siempre estaba ahí para mí cuando la necesitaba. Ella siempre estaba lista para intervenir y ayudarme con todo lo que necesitaba. Nada era imposible cuando se trataba de mantener a sus hijos. Aunque nunca tuvimos mucho dinero, ella siempre hizo todo lo posible por darnos todo lo que necesitábamos y queríamos. Siempre supe que con el tiempo perdería a mi madre pero nunca hubiera imaginado que sucedería tan pronto. La extrañaré cada minuto de cada día, y su muerte a una edad tan temprana me ha enseñado que la vida puede ser muy corta y que debemos apreciar el tiempo que pasamos rodeados de personas que amamos porque no podemos controlar el futuro. Así que debemos aprovechar al máximo el presente.
