La Casa De Esperanza Library

We are excited to announce that on Saturday, February 23rd, during La Casa’s 53rd Annual Gala “Investing in our commUNITY” Mr. Tony and Mrs. Andrea Bryant announced a challenge grant of $10,000 towards a new library at La Casa de Esperanza.  As we all know, libraries develop strong readers and writers.  The value of reading is critical for positive transformation in education and can be a turning point for the role of reading in children’s live.  Statistically these benefits are greater among minority students, economically disadvantaged students, and students with disabilities. With that in mind a new library can be one key component to closing the educational achievement gaps.

We are eager to start our centralized library for all kinds of reading, cultural activities, access to information, knowledge building, deep thinking and lively discussion.  Our school library will inspire curiosity, innovation and problem-solving.
