Outpost #4 WRS

Outpost #4 Wildlife Rehabilitation Services offers rehabilitation for all native wildlife - orphaned or injured, with the ultimate goal of release back to the wild. In New York State wildlife rehabilitation is done on an all-volunteer basis. This is a very expensive endeavor as we have to purchase feed, medicines, caging materials, enrichment articles, as well as pay for veterinarian bills.  We have set a goal of raising $3000.00 to kick of the 2017 baby season.  Although we receive donations of food and supplies it is never enough.  We still need to buy medications, medical supplies,  any expenses related to vet care - such as lab work (which can be very expensive). Luckily our vets work on the wildlife pro-bono, but we couldn't ask them to pay for related costs.  We buy food to supplement the donationed food as there is never enough.
