The Kyle Family Emergency Rent Help Fund was created by Me, Anna Kyle, a loving Mother who humbly, is pleading with You to help prevent My Family, that God Blessed Me With, from being evicted from our home in Bayonne, New Jersey on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. Please note: I have applied for the Hudson County SSH program, however, fund are now froze. This is why I am asking for your help. As a Mother, I never thought My Family, would be in this situation. However, a couple of months ago, Our landlord raised Our rent from $1400 dollars to $1800 dollars. I am disabled due to My type 1 insulin dependent diabetes, seizure disorder, and other medical conditions. Type 1 diabetes is an extremely expensive illness to live with. I pay for insulin, diabetes supplies, seizure meds, and additional medications completely on my own because I only have Medicare Part A and B. I also have to pay for Medicare part B every month out of my disability income. I have been married for 22 years to my Husband, Jim. He has done His best to help me pay for my meds throughout the years. Recently, my Husband experienced job loss due to several medical emergencies I had involving taking seizures, and experiencing severe high and low blood sugar issues. When I am sick like this, I require ongoing supervision and medical care, my Husband does this for Me. Due to my Husband's job loss we came into the situation where we were able to pay part of Our July 2019 rent. However, we continued to owe the rest of it. Now we also owe the August 2019 rent. Although I suffer ongoing from my illnesses, I recently applied for online teaching jobs to help my family. I was contracted with two companies. However, because I just started recently, the amount I receive was enough to buy food for my family and medications. My Husband's only income has come in from is from freelance art. The "starving artist" term is very true. He can make sales, however, not on a consistent basis. Due to this, He can accumulate some money, but not enough to cover the back rent for July 2019 and August 2019 , which is what will be the expectation when We go to court next week to try to prevent us from being evicted and therefore homeless. My Husband was hired by a company today and will start work on Sunday, August 18, 2019 which will help prevent this from happening to us again from September 2019 onward. I will also be receiving my income as a teacher online more regularly to stop it from happening again. However, We are in dire need forYour help as soon as possible because We have to have the amount requested by the court before Wednesday, August 21st or We will be evicted. I would appreciate any amount of funds that You can assist My Family with. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
