Lectric Legends is one of the US teams moving on from Super Regionals to the World Competition in St. Louis, and we need your help!
This group of amazing homeschooled teens won the Kentucky state championship and the Inspire Award through the STEAM organization, First Tech Challenge (FTC), and most recently received the Connect Award at Super Regionals -- we are going forward to compete again in St. Louis, April 26-29!
We have less than a month to raise money -- AGAIN! -- and it's another expensive venture -- we are in need of funds for registration fees ($1000 alone!), robot parts, and travel expenses. Every donation is put to good use and is very appreciated!
We are a 501(c)3 through our parent organization, Legendary Minds, Inc, so your donation is tax deductible.
About Our Team:
Our team uses professional grade software to program and digitally design our robot such as CAD, Java, and Android Studio. On these programs we create 3D printed parts that we use on our robot, and programs to control our robot through difficult tasks.
We keep an engineering notebook which we use to take detailed notes, as well as show pictures of the evolution of our robot. In our notebook we display the design process of just about everything from our programs to each individual feature of the robot.
Our team also has 3 different social media platforms with hundreds of followers across each of them (our Instagram page is linked). We are in charge of organizing fundraisers, and finding sponsors by reaching out to companies and talking to local businesses.

About FTC:
Highschool teams from around the world are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format.
Our students develop STEAM skills and practice engineering principles, and work hard to raise funds, design and market their team brand, and do community outreach for which they can win awards.
