Revival & Reformation

I just completed a DTS(Discipleship Training School) in YWAM(Youth with a Mission) Kona; a missions organization, and it really helped build a foundation for my relationship with God and now I aim to establish that with a secondary school within the same organization. DTS consisted of a lecture phase in which we learned and spiritually trained to express God’s love within the mission field. This was followed by an Outreach phase where I had the incredible opportunity to go to nation of Brazil for 3 months. We spread the gospel amongst communities in the Amazon River and to the favelas of Vitória and Rio de Janeiro, and the city of Belém. We did house visits, street evangelism, preached in many churches & made unforgettable relationships bound by Christs’ love.
I was very fortunate for these preceding 6 months and I feel called back to YWAM Kona to do the Foundations for Revival & Reformation School. In complete honesty, I was initially reluctant on going back to YWAM but I have seen many signs and confirmations and the Lord has given me his perspective on doing a secondary school. I have decided to defer my enrollment until next year for a University I was planning on attending this fall in obedience to God. Eventually my reluctance to going back to YWAM turned into a desire to do this school and the only thing I battle with is the financial aspect. But I have seen him do so many miracles in my life and I know He’s got my back. In this season, particularly regarding this situation, I am trusting in him completely and He’s always faithful when we trust in him.
Revival & Reformation is a course split into 3 quarters for a total of 9 months for $9,000. In the first quarter, I will be going in depth through the entire bible to strengthen my knowledge & understanding of His word! The second quarter will be centered around worldview in which we learn more about society through a godly perspective. We will learn more about shaping and impacting our culture. The last quarter is focused on communication, where we will be trained to carry the message of Christ through different mediums! I believe this is very well fitting for this time in my life so I can be well equipped to stand strong in my faith and be able to represent it in all situations not only Christian settings. Before I approach any further big steps in my life I want to be fully confident in my faith and I believe Revival & Reformation will help me to do that.
