This beautiful family's world has been changed forever in a tragic accident. Darnell, loving father of five, suffered a severe injury and as a result has a difficult recovery as a quadriplegic.
Darnell and his wife, Tasi, have been married for 11 years but have been together for over 19 years and have five beautiful children together. This is an amazing, loving family. The love they have for each other is beyond measure. They have a positive mindset and faith, and Darnell believes he WILL walk again. For now, he has regained some movement in his arms.
Darnell has worked full time to support his family and Tasi worked part time as a loving caregiver. Both have been out of work since the accident as Darnell has been hospitalized and can no longer work and Tasi has been out of work to be by her husband's side.
Darnell will be going home from the hospital soon and Tasi will be leaving her job to become Darnell's full-time caregiver. They will be facing a lot of new challenges as they re-start their new life. Money donated to the family will help lift some weight off of their shoulders. They will both be losing their steady income along with having to purchase a wheelchair accessible van, wheelchair ramp for their home, and might possibly have to make some wheelchair accessible changes to their home.
If we can come together and provide financial support, we can ease some of the financial burdens for this family. No amount is too little.
