Help The Kununurra Project!

Next Friday I will be climbing the Q1 Sky point tower to raise money for the Kununurra Project! Any spare change would be greatly appreciated to raise money for this organisation that is very close to my heart!
Living in Australia it is easy to beleive that we are 'the lucky country'. A country where everyone recieves a fair go. However, this is not the case in the regional town of Kununurra. This is a town were Aboriginal Elders are struggling to ensure their culture is continued through their children and grandchildren. Many children from as young as 6 years old are stuck in a cycle of disadvantage which often leads them down a path of alcoholism, crime and anti-social behaviour. Thankfully, international NGO, Save the Children has a permanent stay in Kununurra to provide a constant base of support to the community. The Kununurra Project is student club that sends support groups to Kununurra to help Save the Children druging their busiest time - school holidays. The Kununurra project aspires to establish a foundation for growth and development within the region through the implementation and ongoing support of anti-bullying programs, sporting competitions and public speaking workshops.
Our program relies on donations to not only pass on to Save the Children in Kununurra, but subsidise the costs of the trips so the experience can be inclusive of all passionate people, regardless of financial status.
We would be incredibly grateful for any donations as every cent goes towards building a better future for Indigenous youth - a cause that is so close to all of our hearts.
