So, we've been formally evicted after an ongoing process of being lied to repeatedly by our landlords. We explained to them, due to a medical emergency, we would be late paying.
They refused to work with us. We said fine, waited on them to deliver the notice of taking us to court so we could do a hardship loan. They delivered them-- The day before the date, claiming they'd done so five days before.
And so on, and so on, until today, where a cop came banging on the door to evict us. Now, we're having to take all the money we tried to pay them, and they refused, to rent a hotel, while trying to locate a place to live and acquire one that allows pets.
I'll be 100% honest, I do not know how much we need. I do not know what else to do in this situation. I just know, we need help, and any little bit counts.
