Hello! My name is Kontara Morphis, I am the Founder and Artistic Director of K- Theatre Dance Complex!
K-Theatre Dance Complex or KTDC as we like to call it, is quickly approaching it's 1 YEAR ANNIVERSAY!!!! We opened our doors on February 1, 2016. This dance school has been a dream of mine for several years. I have been teaching dance and training students since I was 16 years old. For those of you who know me personally, you understand FIRSTHAND how much of beautiful journey this has been not only for myself, but for my amazing students and team! Finally having a HOME for my students and staff is a dream come true! While all of this excitement is going on; WE are proud to announce our SECOND end of the season Annual Showcase, which is where we need YOUR HELP and SUPPORT!
In JUNE, 2017, K-Theater will be premiering "The Girl with the Golden Sneakerz", an ORIGNIAL dance theater production. The KTDC students will perform dance works by some of Pittsburgh's most amazing choreographers. We would like to show this production at the Kelly Strayhorn Theatre in East Liberty, PA. We need your help to make "TGWTGS" possible! Sharing our experience and expertise with young dancers and witnessing their growth gives the KTDC Team a sense of accomplishment. We would like you to be able to share in our accomplishments as well.
The funds you contribute will be used for the following:
-The Venue
-Costumes
-Lighting
-Food
-Marketing
-Programs
-Decorations
The students and I would like to personally thank you for your contribution. Each time a donation is made we will post a video thanking you for your support! Please also look out for the date of our Production "The Girl with the Golden Sneakerz" coming June, 2017 we would love to see you there!!!!
