Karen's Breast Cancer Fund

My name is Katie, I've known Karen since 1995 when her daughter Kaija was only several months old. She is one of my soul sisters. Karen was recently diagnosed with Triple Negative Invasive Aggressive Breast Cancer. This is very close to my heart not only because I love her so much but I too had TNBC in 2015. She is now truly my "warrior sister" and I know she will fight like the strong woman she is.


With her adventurous spirit and big smile Karen has begun her cancer journey. She has undergone her first Chemotherapy treatment on March 7th.  In the coming weeks and months Karen will experience a myriad of treatments, medications, side effects and lots of trips to Bozeman to see her medical team. She will need to undergo a mastectomy and radiation after the Chemotherapy regiment is complete. 

I'm reaching out to friends and family to help alleviate the financial stress cancer incurs. I know there will be loss of income considering the seasonal work that Karen does in Big Sky but unfortunatley the bills do keep coming in. Please help in any way or form you can, no matter how small; a smile when you see her, a card, a helping hand or drop off something on their doorstep.
