Surgery for GiGi

A dog with a bigger heart than most. Eight years ago GiGi was found tied to a dumpster in a parking lot behind a strip mall. I was fortunate to have found and rescued her and have tried to give her the best life possible. My last resort is to have to ask anyone for money ever, but due to unforeseen circumstances I feel I haven’t been left with much of a choice. A few months back two tumors were found on GiGi, one cancerous one benign. A  very high vet bill, but we had them removed hoping that would extend her quality of life. Unfortunately,  more problems have risen since then. Last month I noticed GiGi not being able to walk properly, so again, I took her to the vet and they seemed to feel it was a pulled muscle. She was treated with anti-inflammatories and seemed to be better for about a week. I then noticed that once again she was walking funny, wasn’t jumping up on things, or running around like usual, again the vet said it’s a pulled muscle not healing properly and provided more anti-inflammatories. Now here we are in the midst of her treatment with anti-inflammatories and today I find her with a complete loss of mobility of her back legs, as you can see in the pictures she is not able to stand on her back two legs unless, with major assistance. Of course I immediately rushed her back to the vet and here I am left with two choices; $9,000 emergency surgery/MRI  or to put her down, which I can’t  bring myself to even think about considering the 2nd option. To top it all off I am currently out of a job and am in the midst of looking for and transitioning into a new one. There seriously couldn’t be a worse time for this to happen so here I am asking for any help or support. Every little bit helps.
