Classroom Library

I recently got hired as a high school English teacher, and I am now in the process of gathering materials for my first classroom. One of the most important features of my classroom will be my classroom library, where students can choose books to read for projects or pleasure that are of appropriate grade level. I am fundraising to alleviate the cost of buying all of these books out of pocket. I want to be able to cultivate a library with a wide variety of genres and titles. I will be purchasing most of these books at thrift stores and local second hand shops in order to stretch this money as far as it will go, and support local businesses in the process.
