Hi, we are the PS.IS/78Q Junior Ambassadors, we were selected for a program that gives power to younger audiences.
Together as a group we are trying to help the UN with SDG #7!!!
If you don't know what SDG 7 is, it is one of the 17 sustainable development goals set by the United Nations. To be more specific SDG #7 is affordable renewable energy that is better for the environment than fossil fuels.
Our goal is set out to $1,000 and with the amount of money we earn here, we plan to use it to help out our projects that are going to be listed:
Our Art team hopes to inspire the people of our neighborhood to switch to renewable energy, but unfortunately cannot do so without money to buy Paint and Canvases. Your donations will go towards buying art supplies for the art team.
The event planning team works hand in hand with the fundraising team. They plan parties/events in our neighborhood in an attempt to raise money. Although you probably know, it takes money to make money and money is what we don’t have. Your donation will kick start the event planning teams economy.
There is an awareness team that works on making strong, colorful flyers to encourage people to be more committed to saving the word via renewable energy. Your donations will cover the cost of printing.
The philanthropy team will need the money the most to buy solar kits, which therefore we can send it to remote areas where people are in desperate need of energy! Your donation, along with our personal money will send as many solar kits as we can to remote areas without electricity.
The advocacy team is here to help advocate about using or to consider using solar energy via emails, letters, and in person speaking’s with local community members.
These are all the projects that we have, these projects will spread the word out to everyone about using solar energy. Therefore, every donation that is given to us will be greatly appreciated.
