Kresten Neufeld

Kresten, has been diagnosed with stage 3 t-lymphocyte Non-Hodgkins lymphoma.  It is a serious diagnosis with multiple years of chemo treatment. 

On Feb 4th, 2019, Kresten was taken by ambulance to the Children's Hospital due to an airway issue.  He had been on some medication for a week due to a perceived chest infection. The issue had only gotten worse which prompted the visit to another doctor. His airway was found to only be open about 2 millimetres and tests showed a mass in his chest pushing against his airway.  

The funds we raise will first go to finishing the rooms that affect Kresten. The house was in mid renovation in parts of the basement (boy's rooms, their bathroom and main area). We don't want Kresten to  be in a dust filled zone for long and want to finish the renovation quickly so that it is a good place for recovery.  Funds will also be used towards prescribed medication & medical therapies not covered by Manitoba Health, professional support, and to promote quality of life and health.
