Kovu's Emergency Vet Treatment

Donation protected
Kovu is just about a year old and he has mistakenly gotten into some ibuprofen. Sadly, ibuprofen is very poisonous to dogs and can cause severe damage to the stomach and kidneys. He was taken to the animal ER just a few hours ago and has started his treatment. The doctors have recommended he stay with them for two nights to monitor his progress and keep him on an IV flow to avoid any damage to his kidneys. With our fingers crossed we are all pulling for him to make a full recovery.

Here’s the problem though, a two night stay at the ER is not going to be cheap and with our current employment it certainly isn’t going to be easy. My wife works as a barista and I recently quit my job to start my own woodworking business. Our funds have been lower than normal due to the early nature of the business. If there is any way you can help us out we would forever be grateful. Kovu would get to continue to be his happy little self.

We have never asked for donations and this truthfully feels odd to ask strangers for help but losing our little guy just isn’t an option. Any help you can give would be amazing.

If however you aren’t the type of person who doesn’t want to just give money away, we understand. Any help at all is still appreciated, even if all that is done is a simply Facebook share to anyone else you may know who would want to help us.

If you want to give but don’t want to give a free hand out then head over to our woodworking website.

You don’t have to just donate the money, you could buy something and help us work for the money too. Anything you choose to do will be loved and appreciated a million times over. All purchases will even come with a special hand written thank you card from us and Kovu.
