Kourtney's Stem Cell Therapy in Panama!

As many of you know (& some that don’t), I have lived with chronic Rheumatoid Arthritis for over 20 years. For those who are not familiar, it is the number one disability in the nation and is described as an auto immune disease with inflammation of the joints. As I grew up I was bless with very little pain but still missed out on high school sports and becoming a cheerleader. However, as I grow older, my luck has changed. I started administering shots as a freshman in High School and moved to IV infusions. I’ve had one knee give me trouble for 15 years and discussed for a knee replacement. Having children has been taken off the table for me because I do not know if and when I will be in a wheelchair or what the future holds. But I will say a couple of years ago God and I had a talk. He told me to be grateful for the doctors, grateful for the medicine that can delay the joint damage and to not let this identify myself.  Most could probably agree that I have just done this. I try my best to not complain and to live life as normal as I can.

In the last year specifically, I have hit trial and trial with this disease. I’ve accumulated debt over expensive treatments not being covered, I’ve battled insurance companies, changed doctors and left my heath in people’s hands who work behind a desk. This has cause my first major flare up, a weight gain and constant feeling of total defeat. It has challenged my independence, my career path and my day to day.

This GoFundMe account is set up for a Stem Cell Research Treatment at one of the best Institutes in Panama in which I have been APPROVED as a candidate. For those that do not know much about stem cell research, Stem cells are the repair cells of your body. When there aren’t enough of them, or they aren’t working properly, chronic diseases can manifest and persist. Right now I have antibodies that are working against my body creating inflammation. They would actually use stem cells from an umbilical cord through an IV for a total of 4 days. Because this is so natural and pretty much an organ of the body, they have not had ONE case where the body rejects it. Instead the body welcomes it and replaces these bad cells with new cells. Below is the website link if you want to look into all the medical terminology.

This cost pays for transportation, the 5 night stay and the full treatment.

For those that don’t know me well, I would not be asking for your help but today I’m asking for a chance at a new life. I understand it’s a long shot but Someone once told me, “your chances stay at zero if you never ask!”. The rest I will leave in Gods hands as he has always provided. God Bless You ALL!

All my love,
Kourt
