Support Our Vision: Mindfulness Teachers Inspiring Young Adults Everywhere!
Koru Mindfulness wants to expand our scholarship program and we need your help to do it! At the Center for Koru Mindfulness* we train folks to teach life-changing mindfulness to young adults. Mindfulness helps young adults manage stress, develop grit, and achieve their goals.
Our dream is that young adults everywhere can create just, meaningful lives, guided by inner wisdom, grounded in personal ethics.
And we mean everywhere. In order to do this, we need to recruit and support more teachers who are working with young adults in marginalized or oppressed communities.
More money for scholarships is the best way to reach this goal.
Scholarships for Teachers Working in Traditionally Underserved Communities.
This past year we offered $36,000 in scholarships. Next year we want to double that. And with your help, we can!
Our goal is to have at least 25% of teachers at each Koru teacher training workshop receiving scholarship funds. This will allow us to reach into communities that might not otherwise have access to mindfulness training.
This level of scholarship giving is not sustainable for the Koru Center without some help.

100% of donations will go straight to scholarships for teachers representing and/or serving traditionally oppressed or marginalized communities.
