Our organization, KORKETHO Inc was founded in 2005 to provide free education to the youth of Thomonde, Haiti by funding the establishment and operational costs of the KOREKTHO school or “Lekol Korektho”. We now have over 400 students and 12 faculty members!
In 2016, The Elevate Benefit Mixer series was created by Korektho in an effort to raise awareness for our cause by bridging the gap between non-profit organizations and the entertainment/nightlife community while highlighting the FUN in fundraising.
With this idea, we created a series where guests can significantly help our cause by attending a night of live music, art, performances, authentic cultural foods + much more! Our goal is simple: Have a great time for an even greater cause!
However, for us to ensure that the expenses of a great time does NOT overshadow our sole purpose of raising as much funding as we can for our students, we need your help!
On November 12th, 2017, KORKETHO we hosted ou 5th Elevate Benefit Mixer at the VFW Stoughton. Hosted by Dutch ReBelle, this night will feature music by DJ Real P, performances by Lisa Bello with Nero and the ladies of AfroBeat Fit and complimentary Haitian cuisine! It was a GREAT time and we thank you for coming!
Your donations will help to cover the expenses it takes to keep creating events like these which provide us with the most funding possible to cover our school's operational costs such as teacher compensation, the student lunch program and school supplies.
