Good day all,
I'm Anthony Bowden, author of the children's book, The Day Jake Went To College. When I am not writing my primary job is serving as Dean of Students at a Title I school in Washington, DC. We are a K-8 campus with nearly 315 students.
With hopes of sending twenty of our top middle school students to Atlanta, GA on a college tour in the spring, I need your assistance with raising funds. The tour is to include stops at the historic Clark Atlanta University, and illustrious Morehouse College and Spelman University. The students will also tour Downtown Atlanta's Georgia State University and Georgia Institute of Technology campuses.
At this age, it's vital that students be exposed to different institutions of higher education. I ask that you please find it in your hearts to help our students participate in this potentially life-changing experience.
