Koles Fight Against Cancer

On the morning of March 30th 2017. We recieved the some of the worst news a parent could face. Our son Kole (13) was diagnosed with Osteo Sarcoma Cancer of the right leg just above his knee. What we thought was a sports injury turned out to be a life changing event for us all.
We were immediately sent to a Pediatric Cancer Specialist in Tampa and our worst fears were confirmed. Kole now faces months of Chemo thereapy in Miami followed by surgery in Tampa and the removal of tumor and bone in his right leg. This will be followed by at least another 4-5 months of more chemo therapy.
The cost of his treatment has already taken a toll on us and we are facing a serious number of other financial issues. Including a loss of employment by an unsympathetic employer, moving from our townhome to a location w/o stairs (Kole cannot climb stairs), Hotel stays while Kole recieves treatment, costs not covered by insurance and of course our own survival during this crisis.
These funds will help take off some of the astronomical stress already faced by our family. Give Kole some added support and comfort. Most of all elleviate the question of what treatment he can recieve that insurance does not cover.
We are in need of assistance ASAP! As we are nearly depleted of what savings we had and costs for treatment rises. Please share our page with others in hopes that others will be aware of our situation.
