Aloha nui kākou.
This past summer, our family learned something that has changed our lives. Our father, Joseph Nohea Kalima, was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer on June 8th 2018.
Everyday he struggles to battle his cancer with high hopes in finding a cure. As he continues to bless us with his presence, we do our very best to keep him as comfortable as possible and look for different ways to help our father heal. With the help of a family friend, we were introduced to a health and wellness center called Angel Farms. It is a cleansing and rejuvenation treatment located in Hilo, HI. Being spiritually inclined, we believe Angel Farms will help replenish his mind, body, and spirit. However, we cannot do this alone. We are asking for your support in helping us raise funds for this retreat as it has become difficult for us to keep up with other expenses.
Our father is a man of few words with a heart big as the universe. It is now that he needs us the most so we ask with a little bit of your donation, if you could please help us heal our father and possibly save his life . Any contribution will be greatly appreciated. You can also kōkua us by keeping our father in your prayers. Every prayer counts as we begin his treatment this Sunday 8/18/19
On 8/24/2019, our father went to heaven. We are deeply appreciative of everyone’s support and prayers at this time. As children we are doing our best to find ways to heal, but we appreciate and can feel everyone’s aloha and love. Any donations from this campaign will be used for his celebration of life which will be on September 28, 2019 at Dodo Mortuary. 3:00-5:00 pm visitation. 5:00 ceremony. We love you all.
